Any reliable dog breeder can show you all puppies in the litter, but backyard breeders will not invite you to the kennel.
Usually both parents take care for and train the young until late summer, although the male lives in a separate den during this period of time. A litter usually contains 5 and 7 pups, but may be as many as nine.

These hounds are about 19-23 inches high and weigh about 50-70 pounds. The scientific name of the hound is Canis lupus f. Dingo. These hounds give birth to their pups in winter and the gestation period lasts about 63 days. Any reliable dog breeder can show you all puppies in the litter, but backyard breeders will not invite you to the kennel.
